Major Czech Economic projects and supplies in the Philippines

The most conspicuous symbols of the Czech-Philippine trade and economic co-operation in from past and at present time are e.g. the supplies of

- 73 air-conditioned train coaches which run daily along EDSA on MRT - 3 line in Metro Manila and continuous supplies of spare parts,

- 52 Diesel generating sets for the electrification of Philippine islands,

- aircrafts L-410 for 19 passengers operated by Asian Spirit and Sea Air,

- rifles for Philippine sport shooters,

- packing machines for various foodstuff products,

- glass and Bohemia crystal, etc.

Many supplies´ opportunities from the Czech Republic for Philippine importers remain still undiscovered as e.g. machine tools (lathes, milling machines etc.), mobile-type airports which can be used for the connections among the island, machines and equipment for open-pit and underground mining, personal cars ŠKODA, components for the automobile industry and accessories for personal cars, heavy duty trucks TATRA, steel structures for halls and silos, sewage treatment plants, industrial and water pumps, building and road-making machines, food-processing machines, glass chandeliers and other glass products, food products (cheese, red and white and sparkling wines), drugs and pharmaceuticals, outfit of medical centres incl. hospital beds, fertilizers, etc
