The Czech Republic welcomed the Friend of the CD President on Enlargement

Czech Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Geneva, Kateřina Sequensová, intervened on behalf of the Informal Group of Observer States (IGOS) in the plenary of the Conference on Disarmament on June 17, 2014.

Ambassador Sequensová appreciated mainly the appointment of the Friend of the CD President for Enlargement of the Conference. Further, she commented four proposals of the Acting Secretary-General Michael Møller on functioning of the Conference. Full text of the intervention is at disposal.
