HRC27: The Czech Republic on the 8th report of the Commission of Inquiry on Syria

During the interactive dialogue with members of the independent international commission of inquiry on Syria, established three years ago, the Czech Republic commented on the conclusions and recommendations of its 8th written report. The importance of work of the commission lies in accumulating and safeguarding of legally usable evidence of violations and abuses of human rights.
The Czech Republic condemned the extensive and systematic attacks against civilians, women and children as well as against ethnic, religious and other vulnerable groups. When speaking about the accountability, the Czech Republic highlighted the respective important role the International Criminal Court can play.
