HRC25: The Czech Republic on worrying human rights situations in the world

The Czech Republic condemned the troubling human rights situation in Syria, DPRK, Iran and China. In its intervention on situations that require the Human Rights Council’s attention, it also pronounced its concerns about the recent developments in Ukraine, namely the Russian invasion in Crimea.

In the debate, the Czech Republic also addressed recent developments in Myanmar/Burma and the worrying human rights situation in the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Sudan and Libya.
