During its intervention in the interactive dialogue with the commission of inquiry on Syria it further called on the Government to stop using sieges and starvation of civilians as a method of warfare. It reiterated the importance of accountability and supported the call by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to refer the situation to the International Criminal Court. In conclusion, the Czech Republic stressed the need of a political solution to the conflict.
