Human Rights Council: The Czech Republic makes a statement during an exchange on human rights situation in Cambodia

During its 18th Session the Human Rights Council held an interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur, Mr Surya P. Subedi, on the situation of human rights in Cambodia (28th September 2011).
The debate was based on his report, which is available at the website of the Human Rights Council, http://www2.ohchr.org/english/bodies/hrcouncil/18session/reports.htm.
The Czech Republic has, in addition to the standard alignment with the European Union intervention, participated in the dialogue with its national statement. The Czech Republic drew attention to the joint letter of a group of NGOs concerning a draft law on NGOs and inquired on latest developments.
