Humanitarian Assistance to Syria

On 20 June 2012, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Mr. Karel Schwarzenberg decided to make available to the ICRC the sum of 3.5 million Czech Crowns in support of victims of the Syrian crisis.
This assistance follows a previous contribution of March 2012 provided by the Czech Republic to the Syria Regional Response Plan targeting Syrian refugees in the region (Syria Regional Response Plan is administered by the UNHCR).
