The Czech Republic as a patron of a trade policy course

Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the World Trade Organization Kateřina Sequensová has become a patron of the advanced trade policy course on the topic of regional trade agreements.

On September 17, H.E. Kateřina Sequensová opened the advanced trade policy course carried out by the WTO Secretariat under the technical assistance activities directed towards developing and least developed countries. In her opening statement, the Ambassador stressed the crucial role of the Czech Republic, and in historical context the role of Czechoslovakia, in building the multilateral trading system. Moreover, she pointed out the benefits stemming from free, fair and sustainable trade based on international rules. All of the world’s regions were represented at the seminar. Both the participants and the WTO Secretariat welcomed the role of the Czech Republic as a donor in the field of trade policy.
