Ambassador Galuška handed over his credentials to the OSCE Secretary General

On 2nd September 2013, Ambassador Vladimír Galuška presented his credentials to Ambassador Lamberto Zannier, Secretary General of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

Mr. Zannier congratulated Ambassador Galuška on his recent assuming of the post of Ambassador of the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the OSCE and wished him a lot of success in his future work.

Ambassador Galuška assured Secretary General of his country support to the organisation and its programmatic activities and of an importance of continuing co-operation of the Czech Republic with the OSCE. Secretary General Zannier acknowledged the Czech Republic´s approach towards the OSCE and appreciated the contribution to organizing the 21st Economic and Environmental Forum that will take place in Prague on September 11. – 13.

The conversation continued with the topic of current challenges of the OSCE, including the OSCE field operations in South Caucasus and Central Asia. Ambassadors Galuška and Zannier also discussed the expectations from the Ministerial Council in Kiev taking place in December 2013 as well as the „Helsinki + 40“ process which is supposed to strengthen trust and confidence among the OSCE participating States and increase the effectiveness of the organisation.
