Scholarships for Indian Students in 2014/15

Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic has the honour to announce the following grants and scholarships for Indian students.

1. Three scholarship awards under the bilateral India – the Czech Republic agreement

Government of the Czech Republic grants three scholarships to University / College students / graduates and Ph.D. candidates for study / research stay at Public Universities in the Czech Republic under the Bilateral International Agreement.

The grant of 10-month duration is for academic year 2014/15. The applicants are requested to contact the selected University in the Czech Republic directly and request a letter of invitation from the relevant Department.

The application form can be downloaded from the above mentioned page. The list of the required accompanying documents is also stated there. These documents will be required to provide only after the applicants were considered successful (i.e. can be provided after January 31, 2014).

The application form together with the invitation letter from the relevant University, motivation letter, description of a purpose of the study / project, letter of support, and transcript of records (all documents in two copies) must be submitted to the Embassy of the Czech Republic (50-M, Niti Marg, New Delhi 11021) by January 31, 2014.

2. Czech language courses at Summer School of Slavonic Studies 2014

The Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport offers two scholarships for Indian nationals for participation in the Czech language courses of Summer School of Slavonic Studies 2014 in the Czech Republic. Scholarships can only be awarded to applicants who are nominated by the competent authorities.
