"Square" Exhibition of Czech Art students

The „Square“ Exhibition, displaying finest Art Works & Paintings of young Artists and their Professor Milan Knížek from the Czech Republic took place on 14 – 21 November 2011 in prestigious Lalit Kala Akademi in New Delhi. The students together with their Professor personally participated at the inauguration on 14 November 2011.
“SQUARE Exhibition” in Lalit Kala Akademi displayed the finest Art Works and Paintings of the group of 23 young Artists from the Inter-media Production Atelier of Prague Academy of Fine Arts, headed by famous Czech artists Prof. Milan Knížák.
Atelier of Prof. Knížák freely involves various kinds of media for the artistic expresssion. Young artists together with their professor Mr. Knížák therefore visited in Delhi various art institutions (College of Arts, National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi, Raffles Millenium International Design Institute etc.) in order to network with their Indian counterparts and understand the current artistic production in India.
The "Square" Exhibition was also a part of European Union Cultural Weekl "EU Sanskriti Festival", celebrating Children's Day with various art performances from all over Europe.
Prague Academy of Fine Arts is the oldest Art School in the Czech Republic, established in 1799. The Academy of Fine Arts in Prague has opened up a whole range of creative activities in Contemporary Art, Free Style Art, Architecture, Restoration subjects, design features and other new artistic approaches presented in the selected paintings at this exhibition.
