On Friday, April 30, 2010, in Černínský Palace in Prague, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Kohout, awarded 15 persons and organisations the Gratias Agit Award, for the promotion of the good name of the Czech Republic abroad. Among the awarded were Czech-Canadian Lubomir Doležel, professor of philology and the Czech language and "New Theatre" in Toronto.
