Hosted annually by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, the event will bring together Embassies and Agencies accredited to South Africa and provides for the possibility to share, showcase, celebrate and promote cultural diplomacy through creative expressions such as music, languages, art and global cuisine. Traditional music from various countries with an emphasis on African nations will be performed as well. In addition to this, Embassies will host stalls where things such as cultural cuisine can be showcased for visitors to enjoy and purchase. The Embassy of the Czech Republic will be selling traditional Czech products such as Pilsner Urquell beer, typical Czech spirits, CDs with Czech classical music etc. The Embassy's partner school – Tshegofatsong Special School in Mamelodi – will also present products from their various workshops at the Embassy stand.
