This year, as all years ending in numeral 4, is recognized as the Year of Czech Music. Over sixty outstanding Czech composers, performers, and musical organizations, inlcluding Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Smetana, Leoš Janáček, Bohuslav Martinů, Rafael Kubelík etc., celebrate different anniversaries this year.
