University scholarships in power engineering and agriculture for South Africa for academic year 2015/2016

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pretoria invites citizens of the Republic of South Africa to apply for Czech government university scholarships to be awarded for enrolment at Czech universities in 2015.

Two university scholarships in total will be available for the citizens of the Republic of South Africa who want to enrol in 2015 to the following academic program:

Follow-up Master´s and Doctoral Programmes in power engineering and agriculture taught in English.

While the scholarship is comprehensive and includes tuition and personal allowances, it does not cater for airfare to and from the Czech Republic. Upon arrival in the Czech Republic students must be also prepared to pay initial expenses of CZK 3,000 to 5,000 (1,600 - 2,700 NS) for administrative fees related to the studies, translations, legalizations etc.


Only applications made through the following online registration system will be accepted (no paper-based applications accepted):

The deadline for the applications is 30 September 2014.

If the application is accepted, in October the selected applicants will be requested to attend an interview. The two most successful applicants will be awarded the scholarship.
