Ambassador visited the Czech company Hutní montáže at Kusile Power Station construction site

Ambassador B. Fajkusová and Head of the Trade and Economic Section I. Klímová visited on 27 January 2014 the Eskom’s Kusile Coal Power Station construction site, about 100 km east from Pretoria.

There they met with the representatives of Hutní montáže, the Czech company with a long-standing tradition and international recognition in construction, installation, repair and maintenance of industrial facilities, power generation units and infrastructure, which is involved in the installation of a boiler at Kusile as a contractor for Hitachi Power Africa. When finished, the Kusile Power Station will be one of the world’s largest coal power stations with six units, each at approximately 800 MW installed capacity, giving a total of 4800 MW.
