Bilateral Consultations between the Czech Republic and the Republic of South Africa

On 15 May 2013 Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa Mr. Marius Fransman visited the Czech Republic.
Meeting the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. M. Hovorka and discussing the trade issues started the official part of his stay in Prague. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Fransman participated at the regular bilateral consultation between both countries, where variety of issues was discussed. The Czech delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. T. Dub. Mr. Fransman then met also the Deputy Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Ms. K. Konečná. The closing session of Mr. Fransman´s programme was held at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports at the meeting with the First Deputy Minister Mr. J. Nantl, where cooperation in higher and vocational education and in science and research were discussed. Concrete possibilities were explored at the meeting with the Deans of Medical Faculties in the Czech Republic.
