Areas of PRT´s activities

The areas of PRT´s activity reflect the experienced gained during three years of the Czech deployment in the Logar Province.

The core pillars for activities of the Czech PRT are:

1.       Support for the provincial government and Logars´s public administration

2.       Support for the province´s economic development

3.       Support for the media

Within the framework of the first pillar, the projects focus in particular on supporting security (Afghan National Security Forces – ANP, ANA) and good governance.

The second pillar involves support for agriculture and water management.

The third pillar then includes support for local independent radio stations, but also efforts aimed at developing a provincial branch of the state radio (RTA).

Projects focused on supporting education, health care and small infrastructure projects continue accompanying the PRT´s activities.
