Czech First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Petr Drulák, visited Palestine

Mr. Petr Drulák, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic visited Palestine on September 17, 2014. He was accompanied by Ambassador Pavel Klucký, Director of Middle East and North Africa Department of the Ministry.

Within his official program in Ramallah, Mr. Drulák held political consultations with H.E. Mr. Tayseer Farahat, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian National Authority, was received by H.E. Mr. Riad al-Malki, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian National Authority and had official meeting with H.E. Mr. Ziad Abu Amr, Deputy Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority. The second part of Mr. Drulák’s program took place in the city of Bethlehem where he met Mrs. Vera Baboun, major of the city, visited Bethlehem University and had a lecture followed by discussion with students. Mr. Drulák also visited Church of Nativity, Aida refugee camp where he met representatives of URNWA and local civil society and attended opening ceremony of Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Bethlehem.
