Petr Tůma, Deputy Head of the Czech Representative Office in Ramallah, discussed the relationship between music and philosophy at an international panel organized by the Palestinian Al-Quds University in the framework of its Autumn Academy, held in Jerusalem, on October 8, 2012.
Philosopher and President of Al-Quds University Sari Nusseibeh and internationally acclaimed poet Meena Alexander presented their views as well.
Our participation is linked to our efforts to strenghten Palestinian institutions in East Jeusalem. In September 2012, the Czech Republic provided newly established College of Music at the Palestinian Al Quds University in East Jerusalem with a new Petrof grand piano.
