Modernisation and simplification of the system of mutual recognition of professional qualifications, an important tool for the functioning of the EU’s Single Market and one of the priorities of the Czech Republic, was the focus of a seminar that took place at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU on Wednesday 12 October 2011. Representatives of business associations, EU institutions and the civil service agreed that new rules should be implemented as soon as possible so that EU citizens can reap the benefits.
