Discussions on the Europe 2020 strategy and the role of business in the Eastern Partnership project will be opened by Ambassador Milena Vicenová.
The Czech Permanent Representation to the EU hosts two debates this week on topical subjects. On Wednesday, 3 March 2010, a debate will take place on the Europe 2020 strategy. Attended by leaders of European political parties as well as top representatives of business organisations and trade unions, EU institutions and think-tanks, this will be an excellent opportunity to exchange views on the new Communication on the new strategy that the European Commission is expected to unveil the very same day.
On Thursday, 4 March 2010, the Representation will host a debate entitled “Eastern partnership – new challenge for EU businesses”. The discussion will examine the opportunities that Eastern Partnership presents to businesses as well as the role of business in the project, and will be attended by a number of high level participants including the Enlargement Commissioner Štefan Füle.
Both events are organised jointly with the Czech Business Representation to the EU – CEBRE. They are held under the auspices of the Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the EU, Ambassador Milena Vicenová, who will open the debates on both days.
