Photo Gallery: One World in Brussels 2010

During the fourth season of the Brussels edition of the famous film festival, over 2500 people saw eighteen documentaries at four venues.

The human rights documentary film festival was held in Brussels from 12 to 19 April 2010 under the auspices of President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek, former President of the Czech Republic Václav Havel and Ambassador Milena Vicenová, the Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the European Union.

The festival was opened on 12 April in the Bozar Centre for Fine Arts by the Czech Minister for European Affairs, Mr Juraj Chmiel, and the Director of the People in Need (the largest Czech NGO), Mr Šimon Pánek. It was closed a week later by Ambassador Milena Vicenová at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU. The award for Best Film was given to Kimjongilia by N. C. Heikin, who was present to accept the award.

The festival was co-organised by the Czech Permanent Representation with support of a wide range of partners, namely the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU.
