SEOUL - Treasures of Czech modern art on show at NMOCA

The most representative collection of Czech modern art from the collections of National Gallery of Prague is on show at National Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul. It showcases 107 carefully selected paintings by 28 different Czech artists and covers the time span between 1895 and 1943.
Not less than seven paintings by František Kupka, nowadays most sought after Czech cubist worldwide, will be exhibited at National Museum of Contemporary Art´s premier venue, Deoksu Palace, from January 25 to April 21, 2013. The exhibition "Memory of Landscape I have never seen" shows the real who is who of Czech art world from the first half of the 20th century, from Václav Špála to Toyen, from Emil Filla to Josef Čapek, and many more. Beutifully produced catalogue is also available in bilingual version - English and Korean.
