Exhibition „Europe, Europe“ in Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo

Astrup Fearnley Museum in the centre of Oslo will present the exhibition „Europe, Europe“ from 18th September 2014 to 1st February 2015.

This exhibition will introduce more than forty young artists under the age 35 in eight alternative spaces from eight European cities - Berlin, Brussels, Paris, London, Zurich, Lisbon, Oslo and  Prague. In the framework of the above mentioned alternative spaces number of exhibitions and projects are going to be created throughout the autumn. The exhibition will travel on to other European art institutions during a couple of the following years and during the length of the exhibition the alternative spaces will be gradually modified. The general theme of the exhibition is the artists mobility and migration in Europe.

In the framework of the exhibition, there will be an opportunity to meet the work of Czech artists: video projections of Barbora Kleinhamplová (1984), Pavla Sceranková (1980) and Pavel Sterec (1985) and installations using light of Richard Loskot (1984). Václav Magid is a correspondent of the Czech exhibition, in co-operation with Etc. Gallery Prague. Other artists will present their works in January 2015 (8.1.-18.1.). The inclusion of artists from Prague and the Czech Republic among the first exhibiting at this international exhibition in the prestigious Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo can be considered a great success.
