Martinů Strings Prague in Sweden

On the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27) three concerts of string ensemble „ Martinů Strings Prague“ led by the famous violinist Jaroslav Šonský (the holder of Gratias Agit awarded by the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the promotion of the good name of the Czech Republic abroad) took place in Swedish cities (Norrköping, Linköping and Stockholm) on January 26, 27 and 29, 2013.

Dmitri SHOSTAKOVICH (1906 – 1975) Chamber Symphony (dedicated to the memory of the victims of fascism and the war)
Ambassador of the CzechRepublic to Sweden Jana Hynková will utter reflection at a concert in Stockholm
