Seminar by former Ambassador to Australia Dr Juraj Chmiel at The University of Sydney

Mr Chmiel presents the current issues in the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy since the Treaty of Lisbon in 2009. Seminar takes place on November 22, 2011 and is hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources.
Mr. Juraj Chmiel, Deputy Minister for Agriculture in charge of Common EU Agriculture and Fisheries Policies for the Czech Republic and former Czech Ambassador to Australia (2008-2009), will be giving a presentation on Expectations and Challenges of the Common EU Agriculture and Fisheries Policies after 2013. Mr Chmiel has also extensive expertise on African affairs.
