In early September 2013 the representatives of Biona Jersín visited Australia and New Zealand for a three-week trade mission, which was organised in cooperation with a New Zealand based export & import consultancy Businex NZ. Biona Jersín is the largest Czech manufacturer of technical bio lubricants and greases, and for over two decades it has been one of the leaders on this niche market in Europe. The aim of this demanding business trip was to pursue existing business opportunities on the fast growing local markets. In response to the continuous increase in demand, Biona Jersín developed a new range of high performance bio-lubricants LUBECO(TM) specifically designed for New Zealand and Australia.
LUBECOTM products were introduced at the wood processing and manufacturing trade fair WoodEXPO 2013, which was held in Albury, NSW, Australia (3-5 Sept 2013) and in Rotorua, New Zealand (12-14 Sept 2013). Due to high quality and excellent performance characteristics these readily biodegradable technical lubricants registered an immediate interest. Several close business relationships and promising contacts across the industry were established during the WoodEXPO 2013. A number of subsequent business meetings with various parties presented with some real business opportunities
At the end of this successful business trip Biona Jersín announced an opening of territory office in Auckland, New Zealand. This significant step confirmed their long-term business interests and proactive export strategy in the Australasian region.
