CzechInvest in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and Austrade - Australian Trade Commision co-organize the Czech-Australian Technology Days, held in Melbourne from July 4 - July 8, 2011. Czech-Australian Technology Days in Melbourne are concurrent with the Czech participation at the Australian Automotive Week 2011. The main focus of the Czech mission in Australia is on research and development cooperation in the automotive sector between both countries.

The aim of the Czech-Australian Technology Days is to provide an overview over the structure of Czech R&D entities, of the respective policy principles, of the Czech Government R&D priorities and programes, as well as to facilitate direct contacts and networking between the research communities, policy makers and business leaders. This mission coming to Melbourne is specialised in state-of-the-art Automotive R&D.
