International Engineering Fair - MSV 2011 - Brno, Czech Republic

MSV 2011 is the leading multi-industry trade fair in Central Europe held annually since 1958 and a unique platform for introducing new products and technological solutions. Increased attention is focused on energy and material savings and technologies for transportation and logistics.

The Czech Republic has a long tradition in organising exhibitions and trade fairs. The 53rd International Engineering Fair MSV 2011 and the 6th International Fair for Transport and Logistics Transport and Logistics 2011 will be held from October 3 – 7, 2011 at the Brno Exhibition Centre. The Trade Fair will be divided into a large number of different sectors and numerous prominent Czech and foreign companies will be presenting their products.

The industrial market in Central Europe is growing and companies from Western Europe, but also from other parts of the world want to take advantage of new business opportunities. Traditionally, most applications arrive from Germany, especially in the fields of machine tools and materials and components for mechanical engineering.

Visitors can look forward to the largest number of machinery exhibits headed by the novelties of leading domestic and international manufacturers. This year primarily focuses on the efficiency of industrial production. New solutions for efficient use of inputs, reduced energy consumption and materials and thus increased competitiveness come to the fore. An offer of these advanced technologies is far beyond just power generation industry, but rather permeates all sectors.

This year's focus on optimizing costs and streamlined manufacturing will be complemented by the 6th International Fair for Transport and Logistics organized in parallel. Transport and Logistics offers innovative solutions for procurement, warehousing, handling, packaging and distribution of goods.
