Top 50 Czech exporters raise export by 8 pct in 2011

Top 50 Czech exporters saw 2011 exports rise by 8 percent to Kc 901 bn and the largest Czech car maker Skoda Auto was again the biggest exporting company, according to the Czech News Agency.

Skoda Auto raised export from Kc 197.6 bn in 2010 to last year´s Kc 230.5 bn ( 12,2 bn AUD).

Top 50 exporters recorded a 30 percent rise in their exports in 2010 to Kc 832bn.

Foreign sales of the 10 biggest exporting companies increased to Kc 657 bn from Kc 616 bn in 2010.

Alpiq Energy SE, which showed the biggest growth in exports in 2010, saw its foreign sales up by Kc16bn last year. The company moved two places up the table, becoming the fifth biggest Czech exporter.

Agrofert Holding registered a rise of Kc 13 bn in exports, thus keeping the fourth position, said Sdruzeni CZECH TOP 100 head Jan Struz.
