Travelling with medication

Here you can find the information on travelling to the Czech Republic with medication/medicaments for personal use.

In case you intend to carry with you any medicaments/medication while travelling to the Czech Republic you should obtain a letter from your GP stating that you need all this medication for your personal use.

Be aware of  bringing the medicine only in an amount corresponding to the prescribed dose and the intended duration of stay.

In case you are asked at any border whether you have anything to declare, you should declare it and present the letter from your GP to avoid any misunderstanding.

For more details please see the attached methodical measure of the Ministry of health of the Czech Republic regulating conditions for travellers under treatment with internationally controlled drugs.
