Short-term Schengen Visa
It is type of Visa issued by the Shengen states which entitle its holders to enter into and stay for a short-term period on the territory of the Schengen Area. The Taiwan-passport holders are not required to apply the visa (but for purpose of working) as January 11th 2011.

fill out on the application the name, full address and contact details of the host
company in the Czech Republic (Cell No.34) + submit
1) supporting letter of the sending company specifying the period of your stay and stating the
willingness to cover all the expenses that might arise from your stay in the territory
similar supporting letter issued by the host company may be required
2) declaration of the incumbency issued by your employer
Tourist trip
fill out on the application the name, full address and contact details of the hotel or
some other accommodation unit in the Czech Republic (Cell No.34) + submit
1) travel itinerary descrybing your journey in details
2) hotel booking reservation
Visiting friends or relatives
fill out on the application the name, full address and contact details
of the host person living in the Czech Republic (Cell No.34) + submit
1) copy of host passport/ID card and
2) guarantee letter signed by the host and authorized by the public notary
in the Czech republic.The letter shall to mention the willingness of the host to cover
all expenses that might arise from your stay in the territory.
In some cases printed form -POZVÁNÍ- stamped by the Alien´s Police in the Czech Republic may be required.

The visa officer may also ask for additional documents such as plane ticket, documents proving the
applicant´s possession of sufficient funds etc. You may be asked for the same by the Czech immigration
officer at the border crossing.

Visa applications are processed in period of maximum 15 working days.

- The Visa Office may always request additional documents and/or information before
issuing the visa, therefore always include your home or office telephone number !
- In some cases the decision making process can take up to 30 days. The Embassy can
not guarantee issuance of any visa. The decision is final and irrevocable. - the maximum length of an individual stay
in the Czech Republic based on a visa is 90 days within 180 days period, caunted from the first day of entry .
- No vaccination certificates are required unless coming from an infected area.
- Bearers of Czech tourist visas must register at any Czech Immigration Police Station within 3 working days
after arrival in the Czech Republic.
Visitors staying in hotels are registered automatically.
There is no visa fee for children under 6 years of age and for family memers of EU citizens.
The charge for the visa for children of the age 6 - 12 is 35,-EUR.
The visa may be issued for one, two or several entries
Single entry - a single entry visa for a period of stay not exceeding 90 days.
Multiple entry - a multiple entry visa for a period of stay not exceeding 90 days.
