Designate Ambassador of the Czech Republic honoured Jewish victims executed at Kalevi Liiva

Designate Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Estonia Richard Kadlčák, together with the representatives of the Estonian Jewish Community, honoured the memory of 6000 Jewish victims executed at this place in the years 1942 and 1943 by German Nazis. Seventy years ago, on September 5, 1942, the first of the transports with Czechoslovak Jews from Terezín fortress arrived at the Raasiku railway station. Their journey ended in the dunes near Kalevi-Liiva.
