On October 23, 2012 the Ambassador of the Czech Republic R. Kadlčák visited Tartu.  During his visit he met with the Mayor of Tartu Mr. Urmas Kruuse, the Rector of Tartu University Volli Kalm and the representatives of the Department of Slavonic Languages of the Tartu University Her visited Czech catholic nuns who have been working here - with a small break - since 1936. At the end of his visit he discussed with Czech students studying at the Tartu University in the frame of ERASMUS programme and other study programmes which are realized between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Estonia.
