Ambassador T. Pernický received by the Roman Catholic Bishop Giuseppe Pasotto

On August 12, 2014, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Mr. T. Pernický, was received by the Apostolic Administrator of Georgia and Armenia, Bishop Giuseppe Pasotto in his residence in Tbilisi. Bishop Pasotto informed the Ambassador of the Czech Republic about current situation and activities (charity and education) of the Roman Catholic Church in Georgia. Currently, the Roman Catholic Church reports approximately 1% of Georgia's population. Catholics represent the fourth largest religious group in Georgia after the followers of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Muslims and Armenian Apostolic Church.
