The working visit of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Albania

Mr. Petr Nečas, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic paid working visit to the Republic of Albania on April 16, 2012.
During the visit, Prime Minister Nečas met his counterpart Sali Berisha, President of the Republic Bamir Topi and Mayor of Tirana Lulzim Basha.
Among the main topics of the meetings the Czech Republic’s support to the EU integration process of the Republic of Albania and development of bilateral economic ties have been discussed. The “Protocol Between the Republic of Albania and the Czech Republic Implementing the Agreement Between the European Community and the Republic of Albania on the Readmission of Persons Residing Without Authorisation of 14 April 2005” (Readmission Agreement) and the “Agreement between the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Albania on Cooperation in the Field of Education and Science for the Years 2012 – 2015“ were signed during the visit.
Mr. Martin Kuba, Minister of Trade and Industry and Mr. Pavel Dobeš, Minister of Transportation were members of the delegation of the Czech Prime Minister visit. Both Ministers held meetings with their respective Albanian counterparts during the visit.
The 3rd Session of the Joint Working Group between the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic took place in the framework of the visit. The delegations were led by Deputy Ministers Mr. Eno Bozdo and Mr. Milan Hovorka. The Albanian-Czech Business Forum attended by representatives of 16 Czech companies has been concluded by both Prime Ministers.
