The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tirana would like to inform that the deadline for the submission of the applications for the Local Small Scale Projects in Albania for 2015 is 1st of December 2014.

The funding amount from the Czech Republic Official Development Assistance is around 8000 EUR per project. Local communities and NGOs from the country are encouraged to apply. Projects co-financed by other entities are especially welcome.

A/ APPLICATION FOR THE PROJECT

All applicants must complete the Application Form Online “Local Small Scale Project Identification Form“. One original copy of the completed form, stamped and signed, and the accompanying documents supporting the application form, should be submitted by post to the Czech Embassy in Tirana.

A scanned electronic copy of the original completed Application Form and the accompanying documents may be submitted by e-mail to the address: ladislav_lukacs@mzv.cz.

Enclosed documents supporting the application:          

·            a formal document of the entity of the Applicant (Tax Number, or any equivalent document);

·            a shortlist of references of previously implemented projects by the Applicant.

The implementation of selected projects is scheduled for the period between March and September 2015.

Note:

• The budget proposal should include VAT.
• Total of Personal Costs, Per Diems and Travel Costs is not allowed to exceed 25 % of the requested Grand Total Requested from the Czech Republic Official Development Assistence.

B/ IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SELECTED PROJECT

The supported project will be implemented according to a binding signed contract and has to follow the approved budget and budget structure.

The organization responsible for the implementation is expected to provide original invoices and accompanying documents when required (contracts etc.) which are in line with relevant national legislation. The organization is especially required to follow labour, taxes and other laws of the Republic of Albania and should foresee additional costs (i.e. taxes, social and health insurance) emanating from proper observation of these laws in the budget proposal. Invalid and/or incomplete invoices will not be reimbursed.

The organization is also expected to provide regular updates on the project implementation, consult the Embassy on publications and other materials featuring the official logo of the Czech Development Cooperation and submit a final report after the conclusion of the project.
