Within the project the Czech government financed establishing and equipment of tourism development office, production of information billboards at the entrances to the city and information tables on important landmarks in the region, as well as preparation and printing of tourist leaflets and maps. The inauguration was attended by Ambassador of the Czech Republic Bronislava Tomášová and by Mayor of Burrel Adelina Farrici. Mrs. Mayor welcomed sharing of Czech experience with tourism development that might have positive impact on development of Burrel and the whole region.
