As result of the project financed in the framework of the Czech Official Development Assistance and implemented with substantial participation of the Burrel municipality, a tourist information office will be established in Burrel and several promotional materials on the region will be created. The office will also serve as a contact and coordination point for other stakeholders interested in tourism development in and around Burrel.

During the meeting, Ambassador Tomasova highlighted the beauty of the Burrel region and its tourist potential. She especially praised the quality of the project proposal and the active participation of the municipality in the project. Mayor Farrinci introduced specific elements of the project and showed the premises of the future information office to the Ambassador. The Mayor and the Ambassador further discussed other activities of the town development, the Ambassador also learned about the successful operation of senior and youth centres attributed to the municipality initiatives.
