In the presence of the Czech Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Michaela Marksová, Minister of Social Welfare and Youth Blendi Klosi and Ambassador Bronislava Tomášová, the inauguration ceremony of the post-flood rehabilitation development project financed by the Czech government took place on Monday September 21, 2015 in the village of Morava in the territory of Administrative Unit Otllak belonging to Berat municipality.

The project “Rehabilitation of the elementary school, kindergarten, health centre and community centre of the Roma community” enabled to reconstruct the multifunctional building damaged by floods in February 2015. Beside the fact that the building was completely renovated, a new small playground was established for the kindergarten and a new small library was opened. All rooms were equipped with the new furniture and pupils also received a computer set for education purposes.

After arrival to Morava village, the delegation was welcomed by children of the school and Mayor of Berat Petrit Sinaj. Minister Marksová had a chat with the pupils and gave them small gifts. The Mayor thanked to Minister for the Czech financial help.

The Czech Development Cooperation spent for the implementation of the project a total sum of 18.500 EUR.
