Czech Participation at "nano tech Japan 2012"

Czech Republic on February 15–17, 2012 participated for the first time at the world’s largest nanotechnology fair „nano tech 2012“.
Being held for the 11th time, the event featured by 510 companies and organizations from from 22 countries and regions outside Japan.
Czech Republic participated at nano tech 2012 as the only country from former Central and Eastern Europe. The Czech Pavilion presentation was representative (54m2) and neighboured with Swiss and German Pavilions. Czech Republic through the Czech Embassy in Tokyo was also one of the official supporters of the event including accompanying reception.
Following Czech nanotechnology companies and academic institutions introduced themselves to Japanese partners: Elmarco s.r.o.; Pardam, s.r.o. – Kertak Nanotechnology; SPUR a.s.; Advanced Materials – JTJ, s.r.o., CLUTEX – Cluster of Technical Textiles, Technical University of Liberec, Palacký University and Technology Centre of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, in which other ten Czech companies and institutions were introduced. Czech governmental agencies CzechTrade and CzechInvest also participated at the event. Total Czech participation exceeded 20 persons.
