Czech film Love Is Love on EUFF

Czech Republic will be represented on the EU Film Festival by film Love Is Love directed by Milan Cieslar. Do not miss the screening on Saturday, November 23 at 6:30 pm.

The EU Film Festival will take place in the Royal Cinema, 608 College Street, Toronto from November 14 to November 27, 2013.

Czech film Love Is Love directed by Milan Cieslar will be screened on Saturday November 23 at 6:30 pm. More information on Czech film and the festival on EUFF web page. General Admission to all EUFF screenings is FREE and on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats to any screening can be secured in advance by a donation of min. 10 CAD per seat at EUFF web page. Advanced seats must be occupied min. 15 minutes prior to the start of the screening.

Eighteen years old Maria is eager to meet her prince. Her dream comes true when she meets Mark and experiences first romance, but also first disappointment. Meanwhile her grandfather finds out that true love never dies, when he meets his long-lost love Lucy. It is love with the smell of marijuana as quirky Lucy had in her retirement years felt for this medicinal herb. John, Maria’s neighbor and best friend, is caught by his mother kissing another man. Mom does not intend to accept her son's orientation. On the other hand his father Carl, living next to his dominant wife, tries to understand his son. Once in a while Carl, when under the influence of alcohol, decides to revolt – unsuccessfully.
