The project is oriented to economical development and poverty reduction of rural population in Mongolia. The project intends to contribute to higher efficiency of livestock management, animal breeding and animal products marketing. Consequently, higher prices for animal products and income of animal breeders could be expected in long-term horizon. The project aims at livestock identification improvement in Mongolia. The Czech Republic will supply animal ear tags laser marker, plastic ear tags (marked in Ulaanbaatar) and taggers for ear tags. Implementing partner will support large-scale capacity building, functional system of information transmission from the field workers to central database and ear tagging of animals in Tuv Province. Further project outcome will be helpline for animal identification, animal breeder public awareness and cost estimation for animal identification system in Mongolia.
