Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar is receiving proposals for LSSPs, those are part of the Czech development cooperation, until 15 December 2014 (for more information about the projects implemented in the past, please refer to following link of embassy website http://www.mzv.cz/ulaanbaatar/en/business_and_trade/czech_development_cooperation/index.html).

The funding of the Czech side could contribute for a single LSSP is 200 000-500 000 CZK (according to the current exchange rate in October 2014 - approximately 16,611,295 - 41,528,239 MNT) and the total percentage of cost of personnel, per diem, accommodation, travel cost and any insurance and vaccination shall not exceed 25% of the total cost funded by Czech development assistance to foreign countries. The purpose of these projects is to support development activities (supply of equipment or materials, training, support the development activities of local institutions or organizations, assist them to build capacity, participation in the sub-parts of a larger e.g. the international project) of the local organizations that have legal body status/rights (educational, medical, social, cultural and institutional bodies, NGOs, cooperatives, administrative units etc.)

Also LSSP proposals must be submitted only by organizations or institutions, those are the legal bodies of the country of implementation i.e. Mongolia. The LSSP proposal includes an identification form in English (Enclosure: Identification Form), which must be duly completed in all boxes and stamped and signed by the competent person; in the case of proposer is non-state organizations then it shall enclose a copy of the a document certifying that entity authorized a competent representative to implement LSSP on its behalf. The LSSP proposals have to be submitted to Embassy of the Czech Embassy in Ulaanbaatar in written form and also scanned electronic version shall be sent to email address:  ulaanbaatar@embassy.mzv.cz.

In case of a project is selected:

The project can be started being realized only after signing the contract. The contractor is obliged to inform about the interim progress of the project and the status of use of funds within 31 July 2015. The project must be completed no later than 31 October 2015. The implementer is obliged to hand over a Final report of the project in written form to Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar within 30 days after completion of the project.
