Merit educators from CULS had been implementing “Increasing Quality of Education at Mongolian State University of Agriculture” project with funding of CZK 1.3 million within the Czech Development Cooperation in the years 2012-2013. Project mainly focused on strengthening teaching and didactic skills of lecturers, introducing of modern educational methods (e.g. using of case studies and group discussions, formulating of projects and using of course materials, such as documentary movies), monitoring and evaluation, IT systems support and improving of English skills.  

The closing ceremony of this project was held on 21 October 2013 in the presence of representatives from MSUA (Mr. Kheruuga, Rector of the MSUA, alumni of Czech Technical University), Embassy of the Czech Republic in Mongolia (Ms. Pavla Žáková, Head of Economic Section), CULS (Mr. J. Mazancová, Project Director), numerous media, as well as Czech language teacher from National University of Mongolia.

“Career Day” was the last component of the project activities. Dozens of Mongolian companies from various sectors (e.g. banking, pharmacy, real estates, trade and media) engaged with the purpose of introducing themselves and offering employment opportunities to students.

MSUA and CULS further explore the possibilities of  accreditation of “1+1” two year joint program, which would enable students to study one year in the Czech Republic and one year in Mongolia.
