Delegation of the Czech businessmen visit Mongolia

Delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. M. Hovorka paid visit to Mongolia since April 23 to April 26, 2012. Mr. Hovorka was accomapnied by a numerous business delegation. During the visit i.a. a business forum and the 4th Session of Intergovernmental Czech-Mongolian Joint Committee were held.
This visit followed the negotiations of Mr. D. Zorigt, Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy in Prague, January 2012. Deputy Minister Milan Hovorka was charged to head the delegation by Minister M. Kuba who was not able to come due to serious reasons.
Program included a business forum, where the Czech companies presented themselves to more than 130 Mongolian partners at Kempinsky hotel on April 24 in the morning and in the afternoon took place the 4th Session of Intergovernmental Czech-Mongolian Joint Committee, which was co-chaired by Mr. Deputy Minister and the Minister of Roads, Transport, Construction and Urbanization T. Dashdorj (Protocol of the meeting is in the annex).
The business delegation consisted of more than 30 Czech companies (45 members) interested in doing business or expanding their activities in Mongolia in various areas (mining, energy, geology, construction, agriculture, chemistry, etc.) - for company profiles see the annex. The business forum was organized by the agency FIFTA together with the Czech Chamber of Commerce.
