Czech Laser and equipment handed over to Mongolia within the development project “Livestock Registration System”

The Czech Republic has finished one part of her development project by handover of special laser to be used for printing barcodes on the livestock ear tags.
One of the projects implemented within the rich official development assistance of the Czech Republic to Mongolia is aimed at introducing livestock identification, registration and ear tagging system. This project complements the Mongolian government program “Mongolian livestock”. On July 22, 2011, a ceremonial handover of a laser designed for printing barcodes on ear tags, ear tags themselves and other equipment was held. The above mentioned laser is a product of Czech company Medicom Inc. This event represented the completion of one part of the ongoing project “Livestock Registration System” named “Supply”, whereas the second part “Data Collection” continues.
Distinguished guests both from Czech, and Mongolian side participated at this event, such as ambassador of the Czech Republic V. Jílek, secretary P. Žáková, representatives of the Czech agricultural university J.Hejkrlík, Ms B.Enkhtuya, vice minister of MOFALI J. Saule and representatives of Gene Bank.
