Exhibition of the Czech books in Ulaanbaatar

The exhibition of the Czech books prepared by the Czech Embassy was inaugurated March 27, 2012 in Book Palace for Children in Ulaanbaatar.
The Czech Ambassador Mr. Václav Jílek in his speech underlined the historical ties between the two countries and mentioned that the books currently exhibited will be donated to the library. The public, including the students of the Czech language from the Mongolian State University will thus have access to the Czech literature.
The event was attended by more then 50 guests including Mr. J. Batsuuri, Chairman of the Czech-Mongolian Parliamentary Group, the representatives of the Mongolian Foreign Ministry, the former Mongolian students of the Czech Universities etc. The friendly Czech-Mongolian meeting was an opportunity to thank all those who have been promoting the Czech-Mongolian cultural ties, especially then Mr. B. Altan-Ochir, who will be awarded by the Czech Foreign Minister in Prague this June. The award “Gratias agit” is to express a thank for Mr. Altan-Ochir´s everlasting effort in the field of the Czech-Mongolian cultural cooperation.
