Of the hundreds of graduates of Czech and Slovak universities, roughly three hundred are now at the ripe old age - many of them are successful entrepreneurs, many works in civil service and some are important partners of Czech companies. This year’s gathering was organized by the alumni of year 1984, during which, thanks to the leader of Shar Airag (which means “beer” in Mongolian) musical band, it offered a great performance. Pioneer graduates of Academy of Fine Arts, Prague and Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design - alumni of year 1963 – came together with its fresh graduated ones. While dancing and remembering the good old times, few lucky people won the raffles sponsored by the Mongolian companies, as well as, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In the end, everyone was handed with a Czech 60s hits CD as a gift. The hall of Ikh Mongol restaurant was packed throughout whole evening, alumni of following year (i.e. 1985) promised to organize next year’s gathering in “broad scope”, which will be held in light of the 65th Anniversary of the Diplomatic relations between two countries.
